Week 10 of the NFL season will see an 11-game slate on DraftKings, with big names like Kyler Murray and Alvin Kamara at the top of the salary lists. As usual, if you want to play those games, you’ll need to find value at the spots lower on the chart.
Here are five players under $5,000 on DraftKings this week.
Phillip Lindsay, Broncos RB $5,000
Lindsay could come in low-owned this week after an anemic showing against the Falcons where he rushed for just 23 yards on a measly eight carries. Despite Atlanta’s failings, the team’s rush defense is pretty good. The Broncos face the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10, one of the worst run Ds in the league. Denver will likely lean on Lindsay more in that positive matchup.
Mike Davis, Panthers RB $4,000
This is an absolute no-brainer play this week after DraftKings dropped Davis’ salary dramatically, expecting Christian McCaffrey to log almost all of the snaps in Week 10. But McCaffrey’s injured shoulder should keep him out of the contest. We learned quickly when Davis previously replaced McCaffrey that he would see a similar volume, averaging more than 20 touches per game. Most importantly, the Panthers throw him the ball frequently, a key component for running backs on DraftKings.
DeVante Parker, Dolphins WR $5,000
The better play of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in his second start last week against the Cardinals should see Parker’s stock rise. The Dolphins’ No. 1 receiver caught six of seven targets for 64 yards against Arizona. Parker led the team in all three categories, putting up his best numbers since Week 4.
Curtis Samuel, Panthers WR $4,900
The coaching staff’s vow to get the ball in the speedster’s hands is finally coming to fruition. Last week, Samuel corralled all nine targets for 105 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs. He also rushed three times for 13 yards. Samuel is averaging nearly 23 DFS points per game over his last three games as his touches increase. He’ll look to continue that momentum in Week 10 against the Buccaneers.
Evan Engram, Giants TE $4,500
Like Samuel, Engram has seen a big uptick in production in his past three games, logging 16 receptions for 155 yards and a TD in that span. Perhaps most importantly, quarterback Daniel Jones targeted Engram 29 times in those three games. The Week 10 opponent, the Philadelphia Eagles, rank dead last in the NFL against opposing tight ends in DFS so far this season.
