Week 10 of the NFL season brings some nice opportunities for value plays in DFS, with several players in advantageous matchups against teams that poorly defend their position.
Here are five players under $5,000 to consider on DraftKings this week.
Jordan Howard, Eagles RB ($4,900)
Howard has emerged as the lead back after Miles Sanders was put on injured reserve, getting 17 carries to Boston Scott’s 10 last week against the Chargers. He’s also scored three touchdowns in the past two weeks, getting plenty of goalline work.
Devin Singletary, Bills RB ($4,700)
After Zack Moss left the Week 8 game against the Jaguars with a concussion, Singletary became the rare bright spot in an anemic offensive day for the bills, racking up seven catches and nearly 13 fantasy points on DraftKings. The Bills will surely play better against the Jets this week. If Moss is out, Singletary could put up big numbers against New York, which is worst in the NFL against opposing running backs in DFS this season.
Zach Pascal, Colts WR ($4,500)
No. 14 has become a steady No. 2 receiver for the Colts behind Michael Pittman, racking up 12 catches on 21 targets over the past three games. The Jacksonville defense he’ll match up with in Week 10 ranks 29th in the league against opposing wide receivers in DFS.
Deonte Harris, Saints WR ($4,000)
The Saints receiving corps has earned the old “Aints” moniker that fans used to bestow on the woeful teams of the past. But Harris has emerged as a bright spot, especially with backup quarterback Trevor Siemian under center. Harris has nine receptions for 87 yards on 15 targets over the past two games. Week 10 opponent Tennessee’s defense is the worst in the league in defending receivers.
Noah Fant, Broncos TE ($4,300)
The Broncos activated Fant from the reserve/COVID-19 list this week, and he should play this week against the Eagles. Fant has become a strong option at the position this season, with 37 receptions for 320 yards and three touchdowns on 53 targets. The Eagles’ D is worst in the league against tight ends in DFS.
